I became interested in painting in the Bohemian art style original oil painting after seeing many paintings like this in a gallery. I wanted to try my hand at painting in this style. I started with the concept of painting an underwater world for an imaginary persona of a mermaid. I asked myself how I would portray the mermaid. I decided she should share a friendship and a oneness with her world through the elements underwater to accompany the mermaid. All of the elements in this painting express their freedom and closeness with this mermaid.
