It is difficult to believe deer are home to beaches and islands too. Taken from a photograph, I had to paint this original oil painting because the sunset colors and the deer walking slowly along made me think of how we tire after a long fun day at the beach. I wanted to capture that day of wanting rest after all of the wonderful relaxation and memories had by all.
