This is my original oil painting of a sandpiper.
As I sit on the beach, I watch the tiny sandpipers scurrying around the shoreline in search of food or possibly lingering among the seabirds. I always wonder what they are thinking because they carry themselves as though they are deep in thought. I painted this original oil painting in colors of brown, white, and gold because sand really isn't just brown. It is also full of shells and weathered glass and can shine brightly in gold too.
