In keeping with the spirit of our 250th anniversary of our country, we lost a very compassionate President this past year. I chose to oil paint this President for his love of peanut farming and his involvement in multiple humanitarian projects. He personally participated in many of them. He was also spoke of often in my home growing up, my dad was a farmer and sold feed to farmers so the home discussions sometimes were about Jimmy Carter's life and Presidency. This is my interpretation of his love of farming.
