My original oil painting of an amazingly bright moon in Florida.

I walked along Florida’s Hollywood Beach boardwalk at sunset until nightfall. The moon was out much earlier than usual and it had an extraordinary glow to it. It looked like a blue moon. As it rose in the sky, it created an atmosphere of pink, purple, and blue upon the ocean, clouds, and sky. The water sparkled intensely and all other objects looked animated or surreal. There wasn’t any sunlight in the sky yet we could see the sand and ocean clearly. I was compelled to create three original oil paintings of this special night in honor of its beauty.
